Allison: My input though is that for me menopause has not been kind in a lot of ways and even when I tried eating well I would not lose weight. Doing this gut health program; I haven’t been following the recipes specifically sent, but have been eating a lot of veg, protein and healthy starches mainly but the big changes are :

1. I have been making all the meals and stayed faithful to no dairy, flour or sugar so no processed foods

2. ⁠I am a big snacker; would eats snacks or a slat read and something just to fill a hole, presentation and the look of what I was eating didn’t matter. Much preferred snacking on things; ALL of which were junk and evenings was the hardest as I believe is the time hardest for most people. I have stopped all snacking during this journey (except I had 2 big squares of dark chocolate last night 🤭). Not snacking has been huge for me but I feel better and am seeing some success with losing a few pounds.

I also have not been having major cravings. It’s more like quitting smoking; you feel like something is missing but you don’t really need or want it; just habit.

Sharon: Last I checked I was down 10 pounds but haven’t weighed in a day or so. To be honest though I haven’t kicked the chocolate cravings. Not sure if it’s an emotional dependence or craving at this point but otherwise I think I am doing pretty good. I am doing pretty good with what I have learned with both times that I have done your programs.
