Post-COVID Clarity: The Impact of Body Language on Personal and Professional Relationships

Have you heard the saying, “What's done in the dark always comes to light”. It's a well-known saying that highlights the importance of personal ethics and the consequences of our actions. As a coach who has personal life experience in this arena and in watching how things play out in the game of life, karma is real. While the concept of karma may seem abstract, it's a fundamental principle that has been around for centuries. Karma is the idea that our actions have consequences, and what we put out into the world will eventually come back to us. This can be positive or negative, depending on the nature of our actions.

Our human mind operates in a way that is deeply influenced by our actions and the resulting consequences. When we act dishonestly or unethically, we may feel a sense of guilt or shame, which can negatively impact our mental health and overall well-being. In contrast, when we act with integrity and honesty, we can experience a sense of peace and satisfaction, which contributes to our long-term success. These thoughts, feelings and emotions contribute also to our long term health and fulfilment in life as we reach our older years. Sometimes we think that our actions or even white lies won’t play a role in our human experience but everything comes back around.

Post-COVID, it's become even clearer how much we rely on body language to understand and connect with others. With masks covering our faces and physical distancing requirements, our ability to read body language has become even more important. By paying attention to the nuances of body language, we can gain deeper insights into others' thoughts and emotions, which can help us to build stronger relationships.

In contrast to the negative effects of unethical behavior, working out, reading, and developing healthy habits can have a compounding effect on our lives. When we commit to daily exercise or reading, we are investing in ourselves and our long-term success. These habits contribute to our physical and mental health, which allows us to be more productive and achieve our goals.

Similarly, financial savings moves can have a compounding effect on our long-term success. By saving a small amount of money each day or week, we can build a solid financial foundation that will support us in the future. This can lead to greater financial stability, which allows us to pursue our passions and live a fulfilling life.

Ultimately, the code of ethics we hold ourselves to is critical for our long-term success and peace of mind. By living with honesty and integrity, we set ourselves up for success and create a positive impact on those around us. So, let's embrace the power of karma and make a commitment to building healthy habits, saving money, and holding ourselves to the highest ethical standards. It may take a lot from within to make wrongs right and to make peace and find forgiveness within the self and others to be able to correct these decisions but as someone who has spoken to persons at the end stages of life, regrets are the one thing that eats people up inside when all is said and done.

For more valuable insight into how to get an edge and level up to the next stage in your life, book a coaching session and let’s work through your stuff together. That is a decision you would never regret.
